Final INTRUDE Poster..

Changes We had made...

When we had put our magazine and the film poster next to each other there were no similarities or connections to reveal that they are apart of the same film. So as a group we had decided to experiment some stuff. We had then came up with an idea to change the colour of the jacket from white to red to denote blood and also the connection of our final girl Ayesha on the magazine. However, because this was the original image it was quiet hard to change the colour. At the end, we had come up with a solution and had found the right tool and coloured it red. The same colour as Ayesha coat on the magazine. This will reveal to the audience that Ayesha is the final girl as she might take of the mask of the villain.

Horror Posters Inspirations...

Final Music for INTRUDE..

While exploring youtube I had researched for horror/ thriller music and there were various of music that had come up. However we had wanted something that will connect to the trailer as well as engage the audience. I had found 'immediate music: suspense and horror' on youtube and this had cached my attention however, my fellow group members wanted music that will also relate to the teenagers so something up beat as well as horror. On the other hand, everything we had found and placed on to our trailer did not go with the teaser trailer. We had tried the one that's in the image below onto our trailer and it had fitted really well. So this is the final music that was used in 'intrude'.

Distrubution Company Final...

Many of the following horror teaser trailer have the distrubtion company and then the independent lable at the start of the trailer. So as a group we had come up with various of names and at the end we had chosen 'MARS production' and this stands for the first letter of my peers. We had found many inspiration but we wanted to be unique and had chosen dark colours to match the genre of our trailer. The picture below is the finishing product:

We had explored www.google.co.uk and had found a website called dafont this is a free website, where you can download any font for free. We had researched for horror graphic font that will match our teaser trailer. We had found the font 'earthquake' and this had given the title a edgy as well as blurry this is because the title 'intrude' splits so this can also denote the different split personality the characters play in the trailer. We had also used small caps as it is giving the vibe out to the audience that it is slang and informal as our target audience is for teenagers over 18.

Chrome key

Chomo key print scenes

As a group when we had finalised the plot of the story. The start of our teaser trailer is the newreport we had tested our various of ways of filming this; have the newsreport image at the background and have the news reporter on the foreground. However, our former media assistant Mr varghese had come up with the idea of the chrome key. So we had put up the green screen and placed it on a flat surface on the wall. We had then directed our former media teacher Ms Ryderowen on a high stall and placed the camera in front of her. She had attached a mic on herself and near the camera so when we listen to it back it will clear and understable. We had then put this scene onto premier and imported it. Then we had placed the chrome key effect onto the scene and we was then able to get rid of the green background so we could only see the newreporter and then placed the image of the 'CBA News' on top . By doing this, the new reporter was on the foreground and the 'CBA news' was at the back.

Missing Girl..

This is the first key scene that will be used in our trailer. We had created this on power point and had tried our very best to make it similar to any other news report background. We had researched into existing news report backgrounds and had combined some of the ideas and came out with our very own. We had also came up with our own logo called 'CBA'.

Mirrors....

We had continued another scene in the bedroom. We had filmed this from a medium close up of Ayesha (Jamie) looking in the mirror by opening the wardrobe and putting on her make up and then she shuts the door and realises the killer is right behind her. However for this to happen it had taken us 30 minute when the duration was to take at least 10 minutes this is because we was unable to creep the villain in as the whole of my wardrobes were mirrors so any movements made was recorded. So we had then moved the camera around but had realised we was caught on camera in the mirror so this was a difficult scene to do.However, at the end the scene had come to end with a good scene.

Bedroom...

This scene was taken in my bedroom as it was the nearest to the school. We had placed the camera on the tripod in front of the bed. We had then directed 'Jamie' to go to sleep and act naturally, however she is staying over at her friends house Casey who is played by Marium who was unavailable. So we had used another friend as she wasn't very important in this scene and the camera was going to be more focused on Jamie. We had filmed a medium shot of Jamie in bed with Casey we had taken a couple of shots from a Ariel shot. And suddenly Jamie wakes up from a bad dream this is then zoomed into a close up of her reaction then a close up to her eyes where it continues into the montage. We had taken a lot of shots as my actress was unable to keep on a serious face with so many people around her so we had left Mehreen to do the filming.

Dead Bodies..

This is another scene from our trailer. This scene contains 'Jamie' entering the room and discovering where their are people on the floor and also discover images of them and also other people on the wall. This was filmed from a point of view shot of the person look at the dead people as well as close up of Jamie looking at them. This was hard to put together as the actors we had used were finding it hard to keep still and stop giggling. Our actors had make up which was done by Fezaa sheikh she had give the 'dead people' a bruised and bloody look to them to make it more realistic. We had done this also in the drama studio as it was spacious as well as a dark atmosphere.

Your NEXT...

This scene was quite difficult as we needed to write 'your next' on the wall however, we was unable to do this. On the other hand,we had found a white cloth in our edit suite and decided to use this to make it out its the wall. Me and Mehreen had gone outside and placed the white cloth on mud and stepped on it a rusty dirty feel to it. We had then placed the cloth in our edit suite and got a piece of paper and smudged the mud to give it a realistic look. we had then used another material and placed red paint on it and wrote 'Your next' on the cloth this was difficult as we didn't want it to look so pretty but wanted to give it a masculine and horror feel to it. When this had dried Mehreen had to put red pain over her hand to show she has been through a lot. We was unable to put the white cloth on to the wall as the paint might run onto the wall. So we had another plan to just do it on the floor and make it look that it was a wall this was filmed from a Ariel shot and we had also tried this by filming it over the shoulder shot.

No Way OUT...

On the very same day as the 'Flame' scene, as we had all our actors together we had also filmed the 'No Way Out' scene which means that 'Jamie and Casey' are struggling to open the door. We had also filmed this scene in the drama studio, however it was pitch black and we was unable to see anything on the camera so we had put on one of the light. Both Jamie and Casey had to express and be verbal to be able to get in the mood. They had done this Mehreen had recorded this from a long shot as well as a close up of just their hands struggling to open the door. Whilst this was happening we had flickered the lights to give it a mysterious feel to it.
